This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collegial academic environment at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital ( PCH). The pediatric clinical immunologist will provide clinical consultation, as well as ongoing care for a large and growing immunology program and will also participate in clinical and/or basic research in inborn errors of immunity. Clinical activities will be carried out at Primary Children's Hospital's main campus and our companion campus in Lehi, Utah.

The pediatric immunologist will have the opportunity to implement early phase and investigator initiated clinical trials, and to collaborate with established immunology and cell therapy programs. Active areas of research in the program include novel immune and cellular therapies, gene therapy, studies of rare immunodeficiencies, and alternative and reduced toxicity stem cell transplants. Applicants with active basic science research programs will be provided appropriate lab facilities and start-up. There is also opportunity to be involved in the Immunity, Inflammation and Infectious Diseases Initiative, which seeks to foster collaborations between basic and clinical investigators. The University of Utah has a strong program in genetics and bioinformatics with a focus in gene discovery and long history of successful collaborations between clinical and basic investigators.
