Job Description

The position will provide technical research support to department research faculty and lab members, assisting with general lab maintenance, lab mouse colony maintenance and participating in analytical and/or experimental processes for data collection. Will assist investigator and lab members with experimental processes including but not limited to PCR tests, DNA gel-electroporation, and tissue collection/cell culturing; with mouse colony maintenance participating in tasks such as feeding and watering, cage and equipment cleaning, and mouse examinations and record-keeping; and with general lab maintenance participating in tass such as general lab cleaning and organization including lab equipment/instrumentation.

Shift

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $12.73 - $19.59 hourly
Grade: GGS - 004
