Primarily day shift. Monday through Friday. Occasionally early starts in the laboratory or staying later. Occasionally work on weekends.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will have two or more years' experience working with postmortem animal brain tissue for use in protein biochemistry analyses including IHC (immunohistochemical) and IF (immunofluorescent).

The ideal candidate will have experience in lab bench work including but not limited to sectioning brain tissue; experience with western blot ; experience working with a microtome, microscope skills and data analysis. Attention to detail, organization, record keeping and communication skills are essential skills the ideal candidate must possess.
