Research Assistant - Temporary

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant to help in designing high pressure ammonia combustor to reduce NOx emissions. Eligible applicants should have a bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering and some research experience in high pressure combustion. This position will work under the supervision of research staff and faculty, and requires 10-20 hours per week. The assignment is temporary and will be effective as soon as possible through Aug. 30th, 2024.
