Job Description

This is a full-time position with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Assist with internal proposals, competitions, newsletters, and reports
  • Coordinate tracking of internal proposals and reports to ensure timely receipt and appropriate document retention
  • Assist with preparing routine announcements of internal limited submission opportunities and competitions and availability of internal funding
  • Solicit and collate newsletter content from OVCRI units and manage creation of division newsletter
  • Update documents with new information and/or complete template correspondence (notifications of internal funding awards, workshop materials, ePCQs, etc.)
  • Provide event planning and logistical support for workshops (calendar invitations and RSVPs, catering orders and payments, coordinating guest speakers), special events (securing space both on campus and off), arranging meals, interacting with suppliers and sponsors, attending and supporting events (set-up and tear-down, registration)
  • Provide general administrative support in matters dealing with finance, IT, HR, etc.
  • Prepare contracts for securing external services such as consultants, reviewers, artists, grant writers, etc. Input and track IT service requests. Complete and track HR requests and forms such as ePCQs, job postings, etc.
  • Provide scheduling support to the VCRI. Monitor various resource account mailboxes (OVCRI, Limited Submissions, Proposal Development, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $14.50 - $16.00 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
