Youth Worker - Night Staff

Group Homes for Children is looking for part-time Overnight Staff to cover a rotating scheduled from 12am- 8am. 

Duties

This job operates in a group home setting with teenage girls ages 10-18. Overnight Staff will be responsible for direct supervision of up to 7-8 teens while on duty. Overnight staff will maintain  supervision during the sleeping hours, may perform some cleaning and organization duties, be responsible for driving residents in company owned vehicle, and be responsible for maintaining routine, follow procedures and policies, preparing meals, administering medication, and maintaining written records while on duty.

Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

* Must be at least 21 years of age.

* Must have a Valid Driver's License and drive the Group Homes for Children vehicles.

* Ability to pass a Criminal History Check with no felonies

* Strong oral and written communications skills

*Ability to maintain objectivity, fairness and consistency.

* Assertive, flexible, team-oriented, and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

* Dependable and punctual to work the hours scheduled.

* Adhere to the policies and practices of Group Homes for Children

*Paid on the job training in Trauma Informed Care / CPR and First Aid
