Joseph J. Fantuzzo, D.D.S., M.D., is both a physician and dentist who practices full scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Fantuzzo is committed to providing compassionate, high quality care for children and adults. His expertise ranges from corrective jaw surgery to placement of dental implants, exposure of impacted canines and wisdom tooth removal. He also diagnoses and treats complex traumatic facial injuries, manages oral & facial pathology, and performs a full range of dental implant related and reconstructive bone and soft tissue grafting procedures. Dr. Fantuzzo’s staff is certified and trained in assisting with IV sedation within our state-of-the-art office setting. The doctor serves the needs of the local and regional community through patient care, education of residents at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital and Rochester General Hospital, and through participation in various local, state and national organizations. Dr. Fantuzzo is past President of the New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (NYSSOMS).
