Director of Transportation
York Public Schools is seeking a Director of Transportation.
The Director of Transportation is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position that includes a very competitive fringe benefits package - health, dental, disability, life insurance, and retirement.
The Transportation Director will direct and manage the district's transportation and vehicle maintenance program, oversee the maintenance of all district-owned vehicles, ensure safe and efficient operation of the transportation department. The Director is also responsible for the planning, development, and coordination of all busing services for the district.
The Director is expected to operate daily with integrity, support organizational goals, demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate others, and communicate effectively.
