LEAD COOK FULL-TIME
York General Hospital has an opening for a full-time Lead Cook. Responsibilities include: assumes charge of food service operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor; provides relief work for dietary staff; prepares, serves, and oversees patient, cafeteria, & special functions meals in a team environment; completes reports; maintains clean and sanitary work areas; assists in dish washing operations and completes cleaning tasks. Must be able to work cooperatively and direct other staff and interact effectively with the general public. This position will operate institutional cooking equipment and cash register. Prefer knowledge of therapeutic diets, cost control, food service management and computer skills. The successful applicant will complete the Dietary Manager’s Course.
