Job Purpose
Assists the iCube Directors in the implementation of grant tasks and deliverables;this position would support managing partnerships with businesses, government, and organizations. The Coordinator is expected to contribute to the mission of the University and iCube projects that include public policy campaigns, university and community collaborations, and public safety programs including emerging technology utilization.

Essential Functions
Assist project director with the implementation and continued logistics
of grant related deliverables, which involves coordinating between the
iCube staff and clients for overall project implementation.
Coordinator will maintain daily media relations, social networks, press
publications, and communication with key stakeholders for iCube
initiatives.
Coordinator will assist with marketing and training materials including digital media
and emerging technologies for the grant.
Coordinator will assist Associate Director(s) in daily project task
completion by working directly with stakeholders in communication
and interaction with elementary schools, education centers, medical
providers, community organizations and local and state officials,
community leaders and safety and injury prevention and advocacy partners.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 1 year experience OR Associate Degree / LPN certification with 3 years' experience.
Ability to work with external partners to communicate program needs including social and digital communications for completion of program goals and objectives.
Must exhibit excellent communication and problem solving skills. Must exhibit excellent organization and be self-motivated. Experience with Microsoft Office suite, photo/video editing and graphic design.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in event planning. Excellent oral and verbal communication skills and creativity. Ability to work with a team as well as independently with little instruction.
Experience working with constituencies of diverse ages, diverse cultural backgrounds, and diverse educational objectives.
Ability and experience managing a database and website via a CMS system. Experience with social media marketing.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time grant funded position; its continuation is contingent upon future funding.
Benefits Information
The University offers a competitive benefits package. Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits.
