Health Plan Medical Director
Martin's Point has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Director in our Health Plan division. This role provides professional leadership and direction to the utilization & cost management and clinical quality management functions of Martin's Point's Health Plans. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other plan functions that interface with medical management such as provider relations, member services, benefits & claims management, Health Plan informatics and Health Plan compliance. You will also assist in short and long-range program planning, quality management and development of external relationships within the healthcare community. Education/Experience
- Medical degree with 10+ years of practice experience required, including applicable managed care experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in medical director capacities, including utilization management and medical policy development, required
- Leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of local provider community (preferred)
Required License(s) and/or Certification(s):
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Maine or NH required
- ABMS Board Certification
