HVAC Technician

Critel Enterprises is a local; family owned and operated Heating and Air Conditioning Company in York, Nebraska. We have been a staple in York County for 9 years with over 16 years in the HVAC industry.  We handle all types of HVAC work in the York County and surrounding areas for residential and commercial projects.  From service to sales we are a one stop shop for all heating and air conditioning needs. 

We are expanding our team and are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to maintain, repair and install HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. You will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.

To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, a self-starter, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with a team member attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, repairing and installing, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Assisting with customers' queries

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ year experience with HVAC service and equipment preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice with frequent overtime being required.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and also heights.
