The Columbus Telegram in Columbus, NE is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to help grow local business by primarily focusing on selling print and a wide variety of digital marketing solutions. You will work with existing local clients, while generating leads and new prospects to expand your book of accounts.

The successful person will work extensively with local business owners to develop advertising plans to help expand their business. They will achieve sales goals through creative sales strategies; performing extensive client discovery interviews, meeting with decision makers, listening and documenting clients’ marketing needs/concerns and recommending appropriate solutions in a deadline based environment.

The media business requires team players. This vital position will collaborate with Digital Sales Specialists, Sales Managers, Creatives Services, and Account Coordinators to create and deliver advertising solutions to our clients. Succeeding in multi-media sales takes a synergistic and dynamic team to deliver results.

Are you Ready?

If you are proactive and have a demonstrated success in sales and/or with preparing multi-media advertising campaigns, selling ad copy, ability to brainstorm creative solutions and are highly organized, this may be the role for you. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to self-motivate, ability to get out of the office to meet current and potential clients is required. This successful candidate will meet or exceed sales goals, understand multi-media platforms, and know how to sell solutions. We will train the right person who possesses a successful sales background.
