Salary Range:  $63,500 to $74,000 per year

The Staff Development Nurse assists with administration and compliance of employee health screening, vaccinations, in-services, recruitment of Nursing staff, facility and Nursing Department Orientations, and exit interviews. The Staff Development Nurse is also part of the clinical management on call rotation.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities
1. Assists DON and ADON with administration and compliance TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccines, and flu vaccines and compliance of in-services.

2. Coordinates and leads educational programs for staff, including orientations, in-services, competencies, and training programs, and completes exit interviews.

3. Assists with recruiting Nurses and Nursing Assistants.

In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Staff Development Nurse shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental and safety policies, rules and regulations.
