Requires a Masters Degree in Educational Administration, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field. Requires three years of experience in an educational setting working with student development, recruitment, and/or provision of services to non-traditional student populations. Requires strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred candidates will have experience working with Veterans, service members, and eligible family members within a government, non-profit, or community-based program.
General Summary
Position is responsible for college-wide leadership, planning, provision of services, and evaluation of Veterans & Military Services for CCC students. The Director provides leadership and direction of the Veterans & Military Services Department to ensure military-affiliated students achieve successful outcomes, through provision of support programs, implementation of best practices, and advocacy of their unique needs.
The position entails college-wide responsibilities and may be housed at any of our three campus locations (Columbus, Grand Island, or Hastings).

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Construction Technology or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of occupational experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management of a related field and a minimum of 3 years of occupational experience, or 10 years of industry experience and a willingness to earn an AAS in Construction Technology or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, but it is not required. The candidate should have the ability and desire to teach in a variety of delivery methods to a diverse student population.
General Summary
As a full-time instructor (175 day contract) in the Construction Technology program, instructors teach in a variety of areas including safety standards, residential and commercial construction techniques including; floor, ceiling, roof and wall framing (interior and exterior), stair layout, design and construction, doors, windows, construction tools, safety, building layout, blueprint reading, and basic furniture and cabinet design and construction. Instructors teach both classroom and hands on courses to a wide range of student backgrounds. Instructors are actively involved in program recruitment, advising and assessing student progress through program outcomes and awards.
