Outpatient Services Director
Are you an experienced therapist that has a desire to lead? BRBH is now hiring for an Outpatient Services Director!
The Outpatient Services Director provides clinical supervision, management, and leadership to clinical staff providing a comprehensive array of group and individual counseling services to clients with Substance Use Disorders and Serious Mental Illness. This position provides clinical and administrative supervision to program staff, including licensed/licensed type therapists, clinicians, and recovery coaches.
Other duties include:
- As able, provides supervision to BRBH staff seeking LPC or LCSW licensure and graduate interns to assure that services provided meet best practice standards of care.
- Provides supervision and oversight to trauma services and interact with outside agencies to manage, plan, and communicate regarding fulfillment of contracted services.
- Oversees program development as well as training and retraining staff regarding BRBH policies and procedures.
- Responsible for managing a high volume of client program referrals, ensuring that the admission/orientation process complies with guidelines for priority clients and engages all referrals in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate for this position is flexible, has the ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment, takes initiative, is able to focus, and is dedicated to the work required . A successful candidate will have experience working as a therapist - managerial experience a plus, is able to foster positive working relationships with community stakeholders, and understands DMAS requirements.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm but will involve being available during evening hours, as necessary. This position has the option to work from home on a hybrid basis however must have the ability to work in the office on any day they are needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Master's Degree in human services field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year of management experience in the substance abuse and mental health field.
- Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist and Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (QSAP) required.
- Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
