A Plus Home Health Immediate position is available (SPRING LAKE and Fayetteville NC)
Weekdays Only: 8-HOUR SHIFT
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled, experienced CNA(s) to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will attend to patients directly and assist them with (ADLs/IADLs) basic daily life needs such as feeding, bathing, dressing, etc. You will monitor the patient's behavior and mood and report these results to your service supervisor a registered nurse (RN). Certified Nurse Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities (follow Plan of Care) Check on and assist patients with nutrition, hydration, exercise, hygiene, and other daily living needs prepare and serve meals to patients; help them eat (case by case basis) and drink (case by case basis) Remind client to take medication, Help or assist with bathe, groom, and dress the patient. Answer calls for help and be a patient and compassionate caretaker for your patients. ** Follow state and federal mandated standards, procedures and plan of care written by Agency Nurse. **Certified Nurse Assistant Job Requirements and Qualifications State-approved CNA education and training program completion; pass competency test following training program in order to gain your state-approved certification
- Must be an active CNA on the State registry
- CPR Must be current
- TB Test must be current Continued education (if your state law requires)
- High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
- Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral Basic computer, and note-taking skills(record keeping) Ability to work long hours on one's feet often doing very physical work (Varies depending on client) Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation, Incentives Paid Weekly by Direct Deposit (Great Pay) Quarterly Training to Enhance Skills Agency Uniform top given to wear on Fridays Provide Aide with Monthly/Quarterly News to stay abreast with current issues in Medical Field.
